Job summary

Stannah Group in Edinburgh is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. You will service lifts, fault-find, and keep day-to-day operations running safely with local team support.

The role focuses on servicing, repairs, and callouts within a defined patch, with a mix of commercial, residential, and public sites. NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent, plus a full UK driving licence, are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience servicing, repairing and fault-finding lifts.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to cover Edinburgh patch.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant.
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

Salary Up to £60,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working ????Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Service Engineerto cover a route acrossEdinburgh and surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Edinburgh and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork

Lift Engineer Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
