Job summary

Stannah Group in Guildford is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover a local patch. You will service lifts, perform fault finding, and keep systems running safely day-to-day with regional support as needed.

The role involves servicing, repairs, and attending breakdowns across Guildford and surrounding areas, with a mix of commercial, residential and public sites. NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant.
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working ????Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Service Engineerto cover a route across Guildford and surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Guildford and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:
