Job summary

Stannah is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. You will service lifts, fault-find, and keep equipment running safely day to day, with support from a local team.

The role offers a market-aligned salary up to £60,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience, a company van, pension, health plan, paid holidays, and a structured bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing lifts and fault finding to keep equipment running safely.
• Attend breakdowns and callouts within Edinburgh patch.
• Carry out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Keep sites safe and compliant with standards.
• Complete site logs and basic paperwork.

Salary Up to £60,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

We’re looking for aLift Service Engineerto cover a route acrossEdinburgh and surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Edinburgh and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence
