Job summary

Nuffield Health is recruiting a Lifeguard Team Leader for our Cottingley Manor facility. The role is part-time, 32 hours per week, with a pro-rata salary up to £27,040. You will lead the lifeguard team, maintain pool safety and deliver excellent member care.

Qualifications

• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Experience in managing/leading teams is desirable.
• Commitment to high standards of customer care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth operation of the pool and lifeguard team.
• Maintain vigilance and respond promptly to incidents.
• Foster a friendly, professional pool environment and assist members.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.
• Support members using wet-side facilities (pool, spa, sauna, steam room).

As a Lifeguard Team Leader at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) orequivalentand you’re able to provide ongoing training records. Experience of managing/leading teams is desirable. You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. As a Lifeguard Team Leader, you will:

• Manage the smooth operations of the swimming pool and lifeguards.
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away.
• Ensure PoolSafetyGuidelines arefollowed at all times.
• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using ourwet sidefacilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
