Job summary

Nuffield Health Cottingley Manor is seeking a Lifeguard Team Leader to help keep our pool area safe and welcoming. You will lead lifeguards, support members, and ensure the Pool Safety Guidelines are followed.

You will hold an NPLQ or equivalent, bring leadership experience, and keep training records up to date. This part-time role offers holiday entitlements, a pension scheme, and affordable gym membership as part of our employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Holds National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Experience of managing/leading teams desirable.
• Able to provide ongoing training records.

Responsibilities

• Manage the smooth operations of the swimming pool and lifeguards.
• Be attentive and alert at all times; create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities; pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.
• Help members stay safe and healthy when using wet side facilities – pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
