Job summary

Nuffield Health in Crawley is seeking a Lifeguard to monitor the pool area and ensure member safety across wet-side facilities. You will engage with members, enforce Pool Safety Guidelines, and contribute to a welcoming environment at our gym.

Bank ad-hoc shifts offer flexibility and opportunities to maintain high safety standards while delivering excellent customer care. A positive attitude and enthusiasm are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold NPLQ or equivalent certification.
• Be enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using the wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times

£13.10 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you'll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you're able to provide ongoing training records. You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Like us, you're passionate about great customer care - and you're a real team player.

As a Lifeguard, you will:
