Job summary

Nuffield Health Bridgend is looking for a Lifeguard to keep our pool, spa, and facilities safe and welcoming. This is a bank/ads-hoc role providing cover when needed, not a fixed part-time schedule.

You will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and maintain training records. We value enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, great customer care, and strong team spirit. The rate is £12.84 per hour.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Passionate about great customer care and a real team player.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy when using wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
