Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Lifeguard for Ilford FWC on a part-time, permanent basis. You will help keep swimmers safe, maintain a welcoming environment, and support members across pool, spa, sauna, and steam room areas.

Candidates must hold an NPLQ or equivalent and be prepared to provide training records. The role offers a supportive team, development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Holds National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is desirable.
• Available for part-time schedule (16 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool and wet side facilities to ensure safety.
• Be attentive and respond quickly to incidents.
• Create a friendly, professional environment for members.
• Welcome and assist members using facilities.
• Enforce Pool Safety Guidelines at all times.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room

• Be attentive and alert at all times

• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment

• Welcome and support members when using the facilities

• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away

• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
