Job summary

Nuffield Health Bromley Fitness and Wellbeing Gym is hiring a Lifeguard on a part-time, 24 hours per week basis. The role offers a pro-rata salary of £27,248 per year and involves supervising the pool, spa, sauna and steam room to keep members safe and happy.

You will need an NPLQ or equivalent and maintain training records. The position emphasizes great customer care and teamwork within a welcoming gym environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy using wet side facilities including pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Stay attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members using the facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room

• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
