Job summary

Nuffield Health in Leicester is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep members safe and happy across our wet side facilities, including the pool, spa, sauna, and steam room.

You will hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and bring enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a passion for great customer care. This is a part-time, permanent vacancy with a pro rata salary based on 32 hours per week.

• Requires National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Strong customer care mindset and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool, spa, sauna and steam room to keep members safe.
• Stay attentive at all times and respond to incidents promptly.
• Create a friendly, relaxed, and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members during facility use.
• Enforce Pool Safety Guidelines at all times.

As a Lifeguard

You’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Like us, you’re passionate about great customer care - and you’re a real team player.

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
