Job summary

Nuffield Health Glasgow Giffnock Fitness & Wellness Club is hiring a part-time Lifeguard for the pool area. This role requires a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent, with training records kept up to date, and a passion for high standards of safety and customer care.

You’ll work around 16 hours per week, supporting members at the pool, spa, sauna and steam room, maintaining a welcoming, professional environment and responding quickly to incidents as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Must keep training records up to date.
• Passion for great customer care and safety; willing to learn new skills.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
