Job summary

Nuffield Health Milngavie is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep our pool, spa, sauna and steam room safe. This part-time, permanent role is 16 hours per week at Milngavie FWC, with a pro rata salary up to £26,707.20, depending on experience.

You'll hold an NPLQ or equivalent and maintain training records. We value enthusiasm, a positive attitude and great customer care, with a real team-player approach.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
