Job summary

eFinancialCareers is seeking a CRM Data & Automation Engineer to own the technical backbone and automation of our CRM ecosystem. The role sits at the intersection of growth marketing, data engineering and product, driving personalised candidate journeys and scalable data integrations.

The role is hands-on (roughly 60/40 split) focusing on multi-channel lifecycle automation and data flows, with a strong emphasis on clean data pipelines, deliverability, and privacy compliance within a modern

Qualifications

Education: BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field (equivalent professional experience considered).
3-5 years managing CRM or lifecycle marketing platforms in technical capacity (e.g. Braze, Iterable, Bird CRM, Customer.io).
Solid experience writing SQL for segmentation/querying and integrating systems via REST APIs and webhooks.
Experience with email deliverability standards (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) and data privacy (GDPR) is desirable.
Background in a digital-first, subscription or marketplace environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Architect, launch and optimise multi-channel lifecycle journeys (Email, Push, In-App) and run robust A/B testing.
Own the flow of user data, configure webhooks and API-driven triggers with Data Engineering support.
Take ownership of transactional and triggered messaging to ensure near-instant delivery.
Maintain data hygiene, deliverability standards and privacy compliance.
Evaluate and integrate new tools (CDPs, Reverse-ETL) to future-proof MarTech stack.
Collaborate with data engineers, product managers and copywriters to deliver high-performing automation.
