Job summary

Interactive Investor Plc is seeking a Data Automations Manager to own the Salesforce tools powering customer engagement across the business. You will lead a small Data Automation Leads team, ensuring reliable data flows and strong governance to support multi-channel journeys.

The role combines technical depth with leadership and commercial insight, focusing on data hygiene, real-time customer data usage and reporting for informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Content & Automation Studio, Journey Builder, SQL queries and AMPscript.
• Strong data and SQL skills with experience in data integration and data governance.
• Proven ability to lead a technical team and manage change with governance and documentation.
• Experience with data quality, security awareness and safe-to-send practices.
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for how the Salesforce ecosystem powers multichannel customer communications.
• Maintain and enhance the Single Customer View with accurate, timely data flows.
• Ensure smooth integrations between internal systems and the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Oversee data pipelines, automations, change controls and delivery guardrails.
• Lead and develop the Data Automation team with mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Embed governance, documentation and handover processes for knowledge retention.
• Collaborate with CRM, Commercial, Data Insights, Analytics and Salesforce DevOps teams.
• Enable personalisation at scale using data and platform capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and automate manual tasks.
• Support reliable reporting and dashboards for self-serve insights.
