Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help young people in our homes, supporting daily life from school readiness to homework and activities. You’ll contribute to creating lasting memories and positive outcomes in a caring, structured environment.

You’ll start with 4 weeks of off‑the‑job training through our Care Academy, enjoy 7 weeks of holiday, and benefit from base pay plus sleep‑in allowances as part of a rewarding career in the UK’s leading specialist education and

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence which you’ve held for at least 12 months.
• If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we’ll pay for you to study and support you every step of the way.
• You’ll start life as a RSW by joining our ‘Care Academy’ – 4 weeks of off the job training with experienced WG professionals to help you feel confident and ready to support our young people.

Responsibilities

• Take care of our young people day to day, helping with school readiness, homework, completing paperwork and planning activities.
• Evenings and weekends are for fun and activities like Xbox, football, film day or go‑karting.
