Compass Children's Homes in Nottingham is seeking a Residential Support Worker for a full-time, on-site role that helps children experience stable, supportive care and personal development. You will support activities, monitor health and wellbeing, and safeguard children in a warm, compassionate setting.
We welcome applicants with or without previous residential care experience who are committed to making a lasting positive impact.
Formación
- Must be 22 years of age or above to meet Ofsted regulations.
- Possess a valid manual driving licence.
- Able to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Induction provided; Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare can be achieved within 12 months.
Responsabilidades
- Support children in activities and appointments, promoting their health and wellbeing.
- Safeguard children and maintain a safe environment at all times.
- Meet a variety of children and young people, including those needing higher supervision.
- Assist the wider team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and food shopping.
- Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
