The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead invites applications for a Library and Resident Services Supervisor in Windsor, Berkshire. This part-time, 33.75 hours per week, permanent role offers hybrid working and a salary of £30,193 - £34,104 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours).

• Experience leading frontline teams in a public service setting.
• Proven ability to manage workloads and respond to peaks in demand.
• Strong IT skills and comfort using library and council systems.

Responsibilities

• Line manage frontline staff, supervise staff performance, induction, training and absence.
• Provide frontline cover and ensure welcoming, high-quality library and resident services.
• Oversee library spaces, stock management, and local partner engagement.
• Promote library services, activities and spaces and support income generation.
• Act as Deputy Responsible Person for Building Health and Safety (RPBS).
• Hands-on supervision, stepping onto the frontline when needed.
