City of Westminster is seeking a seasoned Library Services leader to oversee technology, budgeting, and staff in Westminster Public Library. The role focuses on coordinating automated systems, network services, and library technology solutions across multiple facilities.

Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience, strong contract negotiation skills, and a track record in library information systems management. The position offers growth within Parks, Recreation and Libraries Department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university.
• Three years of public library experience at a professional level.
• Supervisory experience.
• Two years of planning/managing library systems and resources such as online catalogs and networks.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages projects, coordinating with other work groups.
• Supervises professional, paraprofessional, and clerical staff in Automation & Engagement services.
• Responsible for planning and coordination of automated systems, networks, and information technologies for Westminster Public Library facilities.
• Negotiating contracts with vendors for library technology services.
• Budgeting, long-range service planning, and reporting.
