Job summary

Southend on Sea City Council is seeking a Library ICT coordinator to lead the Digital Officers and archive volunteer team. You will assist in managing and developing library ICT systems, software and networks, with a rota that includes some evenings and weekends.

The role is primarily based at The Forum and will involve travel to other library sites across the city. You will need a proactive, flexible approach to embrace new technologies and maintain current services.

Qualifications

• Manage ICT systems, software applications and networks for library services.
• Experience coordinating volunteers and staff in a public service environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of Digital Officers and the archive volunteer team.
• Support Systems Development Manager in developing library ICT systems and networks.
• Work evenings and weekends as part of the regular rota.
• Be based at The Forum and spend time at other library sites.
