Schenk UK is seeking an experienced LGV Driver (Class 1 ADR) for our Widnes depot, operating a Monday to Friday dayshift. The role offers a comprehensive pay structure with training paid and CPC refreshers included, plus overtime and night out rates.

Essential requirements include LGV Class 1 licence with <=6 points, tachograph card, Driver CPC, and ADR (all classes except 1 & 7). Safety focused and knowledge of transport legislation are crucial.

• ADR licence for all classes other than 1 & 7 is required.

Responsabilidades

• Drive LGV Class 1 tanker vehicles from the Widnes depot.
• Work Monday to Friday – dayshift pattern.
• Ensure compliance with Driver Transport Legislation and ADR rules.
• Participate in CPC training refreshers and pay-related training.
• Maintain safe driving practices and vehicle cleanliness.

Schenk UK is an innovative, national tanker haulage business operating one of the largest road tanker fleets in the country. For over 60 years, we've proudly served the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors, becoming the UK's largest chemical transporter.

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our team based at our Widnes depot, working a Monday to Friday - Days shift pattern.

Pay Rates:

• £162.80 per day during your training period. Once you have completed your training you will revert to the below pay agreement.

• £14.80 per hour

• Overtime hours at £22.20 after 8 hours per shift Monday to Friday

• £41.54 per night out

• £22.20 per hour for the first 5 hours on a Saturday then any additional hours at £29.60 per hour

• £29.60 per hour paid for Sunday shifts

• £150 per day paid Bank Holidays plus Standard Bank holiday pay

• 45 hours guarantee (9 hours per day)

• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation

• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience

• Tanker Experience preferred.

In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
