Job summary

DPD UK Warrington is looking for a reliable LGV Driver to join our national transport team. You will move bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers using a modern fleet equipped with GPS and digital tachographs.

The role offers a permanent 40-hour week with Saturday to Wednesday shifts and a night-rate premium for eligible hours. Progression opportunities exist within a people-first, sustainability-led logistics provider.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on LGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.

• The Pay: £16.35 ph + £2.72 ph night rate premium between 18:00 to 06:00 + enhanced overtime rate

Qualifications

What You Bring

• The License: Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• The Experience: At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
