DPD UK is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join our team in London, operating a modern fleet and contributing to the country’s logistics network. You will handle nationwide collections and deliveries, with night shift premium and a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

The role requires a UK Class 1 licence, CPC, and tachograph card, with at least 6 months’ Class 1 experience. We value safety, reliability, and a can-do attitude, with opportunities for career growth within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries for LGV routes.
• Manage trailer swaps and live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and tachographs to manage routes and remain compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers nationwide.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving.

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be a key player in our national transport department, moving bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers.

• The Mission: Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on LGV-friendly locations.
• Logistics: Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Tech & Compliance: Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain 100% compliant.
• The Face of DPD: Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country. Professional, resourceful, and reliable.
• Safety First: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• The License: Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
