Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join our national transport team. You will drive a modern fleet, moving bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers, and remain compliant with GPS and digital tachographs.

We offer £16.35 per hour with a £2.72 night rate premium (18:00–06:00), Monday–Friday shifts 17:30–06:00, enhanced overtime, and CPC renewals funded. Perks include holiday trading and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months' experience with Class 1 vehicles.
• Possesses a safety-first mindset and strong knowledge of UK roads.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries to LGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safety.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• The License:Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• The Experience:At least 6 monthsexperience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• The Skillset:Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a "safety-first" mindset.
