Job summary

Schenk UK is seeking an experienced LGV Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our Scunthorpe depot, operating a Monday–Friday tramping pattern for a national tanker fleet serving chemicals, gas, fuels, waste and powders. The role requires a clean licence, CPC, ADR and tanker experience, with a strong safety focus.

You will be trained at the Scunthorpe depot; the position includes paid training and a range of pay elements for hours, nights out, Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points.
• Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is required.
• ADR licence (all classes except 1 & 7) is required.
• Tanker experience is preferred.
• Tachograph card is required.
• Strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation.

For over 60 years, we've proudly served the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors, becoming the UK's largest chemical transporter. We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our team based at our Scunthorpe depot, working a Monday to Friday tramping shift pattern.

Pay Rates

• £162.80 per day during your training period. Once you have completed your training you will revert to the below pay agreement.
• £14.80 per hour
• Overtime hours at £22.20 after 8 hours per shift Monday to Friday
• £41.54 per night out
• £22.20 per hour for the first 5 hours on a Saturday then any additional hours at £29.60 per hour
• £29.60 per hour paid for Sunday shifts
• £150 per day paid Bank Holidays plus Standard Bank holiday pay
• 45 hours guarantee (9 hours per day)

Vereisten

• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
• A tachograph card
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
• A safety focus
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
• Tanker Experience preferred.

In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
