Job summary

Veolia East London is seeking a driver to operate a Class 2 vehicle, collecting and moving waste containers across assigned routes. You will input data into the onboard system and maintain paperwork daily, while performing routine vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with road laws and load limits.

The role requires a current Class 2 (Cat C) licence, Digi/Tachograph card, and flexibility with start times. A commitment to safety and a clean working environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) license.
• Digi/Tachograph card up to date.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple commercial waste containers.
• Input all information into onboard system and keep paperwork up to date daily.
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per driver operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and legislation including weight of loads.
• Ensure carriageway is left clean and any spillages are cleaned up.
