Job summary

Muller Dairy is recruiting Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers for the Amesbury Depot (SP4 7SZ). The role is full time and permanent, with two shift patterns: X1AM (Thu-Mon, 02:00–04:00) and X1PM (Wed-Sun, 12:00–16:00).

Competitive pay from £17.30 to £28.42 per hour, plus overtime at £19.46 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will perform vehicle and driver checks, uphold safety, and act as the interface to our customers.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence required (LGV Cat C+E).
• Current CPC and digital driving card.
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence.
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• Proactive, reliable team player who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Complete driver and vehicle checks accurately.
• Plan routes considering safety restrictions and traffic conditions.
• Represent the business professionally to customers.

We are recruiting for Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers at our Amesbury Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

• Contract- Full Time / Permanent

• Location -Amesbury Depot (SP4 7SZ)

• Shift Pattern - 5 days over 7 -
  X1AM vacancy - Thursday to Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday off) start times between 02:00 - 04:00
  X1PM vacancy - Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off) start times between 12:00 - 16:00
• Rate of Pay - From £17.30 per hour - £28.42 per hour dependent on shift pattern - Overtime rate; £19.46 per hour

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Class 1 DriverKey Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card

• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
