Job summary

Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution is recruiting Inbound LGV C+E Class 1 Tanker Drivers for Market Drayton Depot. The role offers full-time, permanent work with no overnights stays, and a 5 of 7 shift pattern (Mon–Fri or Tue–Sat).

Pay starts from £17.30–£28.42 per hour depending on shift, with overtime at £19.46 per hour. Benefits include pension, life assurance, and a generous holiday allowance.

• CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on licence

Responsibilities

• Transport milk from farms to sites within the network, including loading/reloading and ensuring timely deliveries.
• Maintain safety as a priority and respect other road users.
• Complete driver and vehicle checks accurately.
• Plan routes with awareness of safety restrictions and traffic.
• Interface professionally with customers and the business at all times.

• Contract- Full Time / Permanent

• Location -Market Drayton (TF9 3UY)

• Shift Pattern- 5 days over 7 - Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday Night Shifts

• Rate of Pay- From £17.30 per hour - £28.42 per hourdependent on shift pattern.Overtime rate; £19.46 per hour.

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• As an Inbound Tanker Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport milk from farms to different sites within the network (including loading and reloading), ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation.
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Class 1 DriverKey Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Selfmotivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
