Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is hiring Class 1 Drivers for Severnside Depot (GL10 2DG). You will safely deliver milk products across the network, with loading/unloading responsibilities and a focus on accuracy and compliance.

We offer full-time FTC 3 months, shifts across any 5 days in 7, and pay £17.30–£28.45 per hour with overtime £19.46. Benefits include 33 days holiday, pension, life assurance, uniform, and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence (LGV Cat C+E).
• Current CPC and a digital driving card are mandatory.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence; prior accident history reviewed.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop routes delivering milk to stores and DCs.
• Ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation.
• Perform driver and vehicle checks before each trip.
• Maintain safety as top priority and communicate with customers.
• Plan routes considering road works and traffic for efficiency.
• Represent the business professionally with customers.

We are recruiting for Class 1 Drivers at our SevernsideDepot (GL10 2DG) within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

As a Distrbution Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently product from our distribution depots to supermarkets within the network (including loading and reloading).

• Contract:Full Time / FTC 3 Month contract (seasonal cover)
• Location:Severnside Depot (GL10 2DG)
• Shift Pattern:Any 5 days over 7 - we can be flexible
• Rate of Pay:£17.30 per hour - £28.45 per hour (depentant on working hours)
• Overtime: £19.46(hours worked over contracted)

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop routes delivering milk products to customer stores and regional distribution centres.
• Timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation.
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Class 1 DriverKey Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Minimum of 6months' experience required
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role. Trolleys will be loaded and unloaded by the driver onto the vehicle.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Self - motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
