Job summary

Muller Dairy is recruiting Class 1 LGV C+E drivers for Bridgwater Depot (TA6 6DF). Full time permanent role with distribution shifts; no overnights; 3am or 1pm start times; competitive hourly pay £17.30–£28.42 plus overtime.

Deliver milk products to stores and regional centres, uphold safety, perform vehicle checks, optimize routes, and maintain professional interface with customers. Benefits include weekly pay, 33 days holiday, life assurance, pension, uniform, and parking.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E).
• Current CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Max 6 minor points on the licence (no CDs, etc.).
• Comfortable with the physical demands of the role.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver milk products to customer stores and regional distribution centres.
• Maintain safety and reflect a professional approach with customers.
• Complete driver and vehicle checks accurately and on time.
• Plan routes considering road works and traffic to ensure efficient journeys.
• Represent the business professionally with customers.

Skills

HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)

Current CPC and digital driving card

No more than 6 minor points on licence

We are recruiting for Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers at our Bridgwater Depot (TA6 6DF) within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

Job Details

• Contract: Full Time / Permanent
• Location: Bridgwater Depot (TA6 6DF)
• Shift Pattern: Distribution -5 over 7 days & 4 over 7 days all inclusive of weekend working
• Start times:AM shift 3am start& PM Shift1pm start
• Rate of Pay: £17.30per hour - £28.42per hour ( Overtime rate; £19.46)

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• Delivering milk products to customer stores and regional distribution centres
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Class 1 Driver Key Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Self - motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
