Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV 7.5T drivers to deliver wholesale food products to schools, restaurants and care homes across the UK. You will perform safe, timely deliveries and daily vehicle checks while maintaining excellent customer service.

Typical hours start early in the morning, Monday to Friday with some weekend OT. The role offers an hourly rate of £14.35 and a straightforward, customer-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C1/C entitlement
• Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC cards
• Previous HGV delivery driving experience
• Maximum 6 points on licence
• No DD, DR or TT conviction codes
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
• Good communication and teamwork skills/

Duties include:

• Safe and timely delivery of goods
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Providing professional customer service
• Working safely and in line with company procedures

Hourly Rate: You will earn £14.35 per hour.

Working Hours: Start times from 05:00/06:00, with typical finishes around 14:00/15:00.Days of work are Monday to Friday with occasional weekend OT.
