Job summary

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Hoddesdon. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, full training, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a leading logistics business.

Shifts include Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday with early starts from 06:00 or 10:00. The role requires a UK Category C/C1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card, and involves

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category C or C1 Driving Licence.
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum three months' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Flexible weekend working availability.
• Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Reliable, professional, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop home deliveries with a Driver's Mate.
• Deliver heavy goods and household appliances to customers' homes.
• Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting safely as part of a two-person team.
• Plan delivery routes and complete deliveries efficiently.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Maintain accurate Digital Tachograph records and delivery paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery location.
• Follow road transport legislation and company procedures.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Hoddesdon.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, full training, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a leading logistics business.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, 7.5t Multi-Drop Driver, Home Delivery Driver.

Shifts:Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday - early morning starts from 06:00 or 10:00

Rates of Pay: £15.31 per hour plus £4.25 allowance for peak, overtime also available

Essential Skills
