Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV delivery drivers for regular work across Leicester and Leicestershire, delivering wholesale food products to schools, restaurants and care homes. You will be responsible for safe, on-time deliveries and professional customer service.

Contract type is temporary with potential progression to a permanent role. Working hours are Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays; starts from 05:00/06:00 and finishes around 14:00/15:00. Immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C1/C entitlement.
• Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC cards.
• Previous HGV delivery driving experience.
• Maximum 6 points on licence.
• No DD, DR or TT conviction codes.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

HGV Delivery Drivers required for regular work across Leicester and Leicestershire, delivering wholesale food products to schools, restaurants and care homes.

Duties include:

• Safe and timely delivery of goods
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Providing professional customer service
• Working safely and in line with company procedures.

Duration: Ongoing, full-time work with the opportunity to move onto a permanent contract.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £14.35 per hour, paid weekly while working through the agency.Successful candidates moving onto a permanent contract will receive a salary and company benefits.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.Start times from 05:00/06:00, with typical finishes around 14:00/15:00.Immediate starts available.
