Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV 2 Driver to join our field team. You will drive waste collection vehicles and perform street cleansing duties across local communities.

Role involves outdoor work, leading teams where needed, and delivering a reliable service with a focus on health and safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles to collect and empty bins, boxes and bags from householders.
• Carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
• Work as part of a crew and lead teams when required.
• Operate safely and comply with health and safety procedures.

LGV 2 Driver

Pay Rate: £16.67p/h

Monday to Friday,

Start Time: 06:45 Finish Time: 15.15

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags* from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
