Job summary

Biffa is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift to operate Class 2 vehicles and service trade waste customers. You will drive various loaders, collect and empty bins, and work Mon-Fri with 45 hours per week.

The role offers a starting window 04:30–06:00 with occasional Saturday work. Training is provided; enjoy Biffa Perkz discounts and family-friendly policies.

Qualifications

• Full LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence held with valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and driver regulations.
• Previous HGV driving experience desirable.
• Confident driving and manoeuvring a large rigid vehicle.
• Able to carry out daily vehicle safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive various LGV vehicles including front and back loaders.
• Collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Work Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week; potential Saturday work.
• Carry out duties with initiative and outdoor environment exposure.

Job description

LGV Driver - AM SHIFT

Monday - Friday 45 hours per week

Pay rate: £16.87p/h

Start Time: 04.30-06.00 (potential Saturday work, PM cover when needed)

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
