Job summary

Burgess Hill Depot is seeking an LGV Driver - AM Shift to join Biffa Group. Work Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, starting at 04.00am, driving LGV vehicles including front and back loaders for trade waste collections. This role suits someone who enjoys outdoor work and takes initiative to improve local environments.

Qualifications

• Full, valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles as part of a single-person crew.
• Collect and empty bins for trade waste customers.
• Adhere to routes and schedules with initiative.
• Maintain safety and professionalism on all assignments.

LGV Driver - AM Shift

Location: Burgess Hill Depot
Days of work: Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
Start Time: 04.00am
Hourly Rate: £16.87 (Occasional Saturday overtime)

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
