Job summary

First Choice Staff is recruiting LGV 2 Drivers to join a world-class logistics provider in the West Midlands. This Monday to Friday role offers a strong work-life balance with a fixed timetable from 08:00 to 18:00, including a 1-hour unpaid break.

The position pays a basic rate of £19.01 per hour with overtime at £28.52 per hour. Applicants must hold a valid Class 2 licence and CPC, have relevant driving experience, and be DBS-cleared before start.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence and CPC qualification.
• Minimum 180 days of relevant driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Clean UK driving licence preferred (up to 6 points).
• 5-year checkable history with no gaps longer than 28 days.
• Clean DBS to follow and prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries.
• Deliver goods on time and in excellent condition.
• Load and secure the vehicle safely and correctly.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.
• Report any damages, discrepancies, or issues promptly.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Support general warehouse and distribution activities as needed.
