Job summary

Pall-Ex London is seeking an experienced LGV Driver Class 2 to join our team. This day-shift role starts at 7am and is based on Luckyn Lane, Baildon. A competitive salary of £42,055 plus overtime, 23 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays, a strong pension, and health app are offered.

Duties include multi-drop deliveries, safe driving, and daily vehicle checks. Required are a Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and DCLC training hours, plus excellent customer facing skills and knowledge of UK

Pall-Ex London have an opportunity for an experienced LGV Driver Class 2 to join our friendly team based on Luckyn Lane, Baildon, this is a day shift role starting at 7am.

Role Specific Responsibilities

• Basic requirements as identified in the RHA Professional Drivers Handbook
• Drive to a safe standard, considering the size of the vehicle
• Keep within the speed limits for the type and size of the vehicle you are driving
• Ensure that Vehicle daily checks are completed and that any defects are reported
• Report any issues and collect all paperwork from the Traffic Office
• Carry out deliveries in accordance with the planned route, contacting the Traffic Office immediately if any issues arise that impact your delivery schedule
• Contact the Traffic Office when all deliveries have been made for instructions on collections
• Return all paperwork to the Traffic Office at the end of each shift
• Wear the supplied uniform and correct PPE for each task as required by the Health & Safety Executive. Minimum requirements are Safety Boots and Hi-Viz jacket/vest
