Job summary

Local Pensions Partnership is seeking an experienced LGPS Pensions Administrator to join our Member Services teams in a hybrid/remote role. The role focuses on transfers, Bereavements, Retirements or Early Leavers with a member-first approach.

The successful candidate will handle end-to-end LGPS casework, ensure accurate calculations, and deliver a consistently high standard of service. UK-based hybrid/remote arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in LGPS pensions administration, able to manage complex casework independently.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customer service focus.
• Ability to take ownership, problem solve and escalate appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Casework delivery and ownership of LGPS cases (retirements, estimates, transfers, commutations).
• End-to-end workload management to meet service standards.
• Provide clear, empathetic responses to member and employer enquiries.
