Job summary

Haringey Council is seeking an experienced Pensions Officer to join the Pensions Administration Team. You will manage LGPS pension cases from start to finish, delivering accurate processing, guidance to members and employers, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role supports a continuous improvement approach in a busy environment.

We offer a permanent, full-time position (36 hours/week) with hybrid working at Haringey. Starting salary is SO1 (£39,519 - £40,575).

Qualifications

• Experience of pensions administration, LGPS preferred
• Strong understanding of pension processes and regulatory requirements
• Experience managing pension cases from enquiry to completion
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Proactive in process improvements
• Good IT skills including Excel
