Job summary

St Nicholas Catholic Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant for a fixed term until the end of the academic year, with a possible extension. The successful candidate will provide academic, behavioural and social support to an individual child, work to support inclusive teaching and learning, and uphold the Catholic ethos of the school.

Experience with the National Curriculum and EYFS Profile is desirable. Informal visits to the school are welcome.

Qualifications

Have a good understanding of the National Curriculum & EYFS Profile.
Be enthusiastic and a good communicator.
Have high standards of oral, written and numeracy skills.
Be committed to raising pupils’ attainment, particularly in literacy and mathematics and understand intervention strategies.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all children.

Responsibilities
