The role is fixed term until 31 August 2027, linked to EHCP funding. Working hours are 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time plus 5 training days.

We are looking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work with child/children who have Education Health Care Plans.
We are looking for a practitioner who is understanding, reliable and dedicated, having experience in working with children with additional needs, and be an excellent role model for our pupils by demonstrating our school values and to help establish, nurture and grow firm foundations.
The position will be on a Fixed Term Contract, initially until 31/08/2027, and will be linked to ECHP Funding being available.
Working hours will be 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday with a 45 min lunch break.
The position is term time only plus 5 training days, if you are required to work additional hours to attend meetings etc, notice will be given and additional payment may be claimed
Support will be given by the Class Teacher and SENCo on activities and strategies to support the child/children you will working with.

The post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their qualifications (GCSE/GCE or equivalent) in Mathematics and English Language, and the right to work in the UK.
In your personal statement you must demonstrate your experience of supporting children’s learning and development within timetabled curriculum teaching time over sustained sessions and period of time.
