Job summary

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in Axminster, Devon to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for October on a full-time, long-term supply basis.

You will support pupils with their learning, provide 1:1 and small-group assistance, and work closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive classroom environment.

Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in Axminster?

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Axminster who are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from October. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA who is passionate about supporting children and helping them reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils with their learning, provide targeted support where needed and help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The Role:

• Working full-time on a long-term supply basis
• Starting in October
• Supporting pupils across the classroom with their learning
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting with classroom activities and preparation

The Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working within a primary school
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Patient, caring and approachable
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
