Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a friendly mainstream Primary School in Middlesbrough, seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join on a long-term basis from September.

You will support across KS1 and KS2, delivering one-to-one and small group interventions, and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment alongside class teachers.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 in a UK primary setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Positive, proactive and flexible attitude.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS1 and KS2 in delivery of engaging lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small group interventions.
• Assist teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will work across both KS1 and KS2, supporting class teachers to deliver engaging lessons, providing one-to-one and small group interventions, and helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience supporting children within a UK primary school
• Experience working across KS1 and KS2
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, proactive and flexible attitude
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
