Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a friendly mainstream Primary School in Newcastle seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant from September to support pupils across KS1 and KS2.

The successful applicant will work in the classroom, deliver small group interventions and collaborate with the class teacher to help children reach their potential in a nurturing environment. Salary is £93 - £100 per day and the role offers a long-term commitment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children within a UK primary school.
• Experience working across KS1 and KS2.
• Strong communication and classroom support skills.
• Positive, proactive and flexible approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom across KS1 and KS2.

The school is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive both academically and personally.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will work across both KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils in the classroom, delivering small group interventions, assisting with learning activities and working closely with the class teacher to ensure every child reaches their potential.

The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience supporting children within a UK primary school
• Experience working across KS1 and KS2
• Strong communication and classroom support skills
• A positive, proactive and flexible approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
