Job summary

Prospero Teaching are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school in Tameside on a full-time basis. Immediate start with a temporary to permanent opportunity.

Role involves classroom support across KS3/KS4, running small group and 1:1 interventions, and assisting pupils with additional needs while promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. DBS and safeguarding checks apply.

FULL TIME IMMEDIATE START LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY

Prospero Teaching are working with a mainstream secondary school in Tameside seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location: Tameside
• Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• Type of Work: Classroom support and interventions across KS3 and KS4
• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
• Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time
• Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP105 - GBP125 per day (depending on experience)
• Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm

THE ROLE

• Support students across KS3 and KS4.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous school-based experience.
• Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive and proactive approach.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
