Job summary

Smile Education are recruiting a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work full-time at a welcoming primary school in the Greater Manchester area for the full academic year.

You will support pupils in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 4), run small-group interventions, assist with lesson preparation and assessment, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. Pay is £92–£120 per day, with hours matching school terms.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification is essential.
• Experience as TA in a primary school.
• Experience supporting KS2, ideally Year 4.
• Confident working independently and delivering interventions.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Caring, proactive, and professional approach.
• Enhanced DBS on update service (or willingness to apply).

• Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions.
