Job summary

Prospero Teaching are working with a welcoming school in Bolton, seeking five Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team. You will support pupils aged 11-18, help them engage with learning, promote positive behaviour, and contribute to an inclusive environment.

This full-time, temporary role runs until July 2027 with an immediate start and a daily rate of GBP100. Applicants should have a 2:2 degree or above and safeguarding awareness; UK Right to Work is required.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a 2:2 degree or above
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
• Experience working with young people through coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work, sports, or similar settings
• Previous experience working within a UK school is desirable
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable)

We are working with a welcoming and supportive school in Bolton that is looking to appoint five Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and support students aged 11-18 in achieving their full potential. The successful candidates will play a key role in helping pupils engage with their learning, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP100 per day
• Hours: 8:30am 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Recent Graduate with a 2:2 degree or above, or

• Experience working with young people through coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work, sports, or similar settings
• Previous experience working within a UK school is desirable
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references related to working with children or young people

Register and complete all safeguarding and vetting checks with Prospero Teaching before starting employment.
