Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Teaching Assistant in Salford (M6) to support learning across KS3 and KS4. Immediate start for a temporary to permanent opportunity.

You will assist teachers, support pupils with additional learning needs, and help create a safe, engaging classroom. The role runs full-time, with competitive daily pay and strong school support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is essential.
• Experience within education, youth work, coaching, mentoring, care, or support settings is desirable.
• Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, patient, and resilient approach.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable).

Teaching Assistant - Salford

• Location: Salford (M6)
• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Type of Work: Supporting teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4

• Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
• Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time
• Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP100 - GBP125 per day (depending on experience)
• Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
