Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a friendly Primary School in Coventry (CV7). This role offers day-to-day supply flexibility, allowing you to choose when you work while gaining experience across year groups.

You will support teachers, work with pupils across EYFS to KS2, and help create a safe, engaging learning environment with safeguarding at its core.

Responsibilities

Job description

Flourish Education is recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive Primary School in the CV7 area of Coventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys working across different year groups and wants the flexibility of day-to-day supply work, allowing you to choose when you work and maintain a great work-life balance.

This role is due to start in the new academic year and would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work, as well as those wanting to gain further experience within different primary settings.

Job Role:

• Supporting the Class Teacher with lesson delivery, classroom organisation, and pupil engagement
• Working with pupils across EYFS, Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Supporting small groups and providing 1:1 assistance where required
• Helping to prepare learning activities and resources
• Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment
• Adapting quickly to different year groups, routines, and school environments
• Following safeguarding procedures and promoting pupil wellbeing at all times

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role within a UK Primary School
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Confidence supporting pupils and working collaboratively with teaching staff
• A relevantLevel 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable)
• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning
• A genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their potential
