Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in the Northfield area. This full-time post starts September 2026 and runs through to July 2027.

The role supports KS2 pupils, works with class teachers, delivers interventions and helps pupils progress across the curriculum. A proactive, adaptable candidate who builds strong relationships is sought.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Experience working within a Primary School setting is desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2.
• Delivering small group interventions in reading, writing and maths.
• Providing classroom support to the class teacher.
• Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.

Job description

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Northfield area. This is a full-time role starting in September 2026 and is expected to continue on a long-term basis until July 2027.

The role will involve supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers to support learning, deliver interventions and help pupils make progress across the curriculum.

The school is looking for a proactive and adaptable Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff and provide effective classroom support.
